A report in the Daily Mail concerns the injury sustained by right-winger Antonio Valencia. Valencia fractured his ankle and damaged his ankle ligaments in the Champions League encounter against Glasgow Rangers on the 14th September and was ruled out for the rest of the 2010/11 season.
